Rowenta Advancer Iron Review

I bought this product less than two years ago and was very pleased with it's performance. It worked very well until the internal thermostat broke. It began as a burnt smell while I was routinely ironing, then it burnt my ironing board cover. I tried self cleaning it then let it cool down. When I tried using it again, the yellow light blinked off and on but the iron never heated up again. Rowenta customer service told me the internal thermostat was broken and the iron would have to be shipped for repair, at my expense. No thank you. An iron at this price should last more that two years.
